American Dream is a Big Business Scheme
Bloggers, look around you, it's Christmas time again. Is it too hard to see that this holiday is a man made invention? Yes, I join my family in this time of year to enjoy the festive spirit of what this time of the year represents. And I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. My wife was the reason I really got together with all her family to celebrate Christmas for the kids for many years. And just like I gathered at my maternal grandmothers house to celebrate as a kid, for me it was about eating all the great foods that were served at these places. And playing with all my cousins and friends that gather together during this special time of year. But there came a time after growing up that I learned that this Holiday was nothing more than a Pagan holiday that ancient Christian Rome had adopted into its calendar. And even at our Mexican Pentecostal Church, I remember that at times the Pastor would laughingly joke to the members as we walked into Church on Christmas time in December, and say, "Oh, I know that The Church looks like the Grand Babylonia! But, we really know the Reason for the Season." Well, the origins of the season was never ever preached at these Churches because the Christians didn't want to hear it and neither did my wife or our families. And yes, I am guilty of the practice myself regardless my excuse noted here. What is a poor man to do? The kids wait for Christmas all year long and the parents have to sacrifice a lot just to please these critters pestering us about what they want. Then the wife is expecting Gold or something nice as a present too. Oh, the hardship stories we could tell about some of those sacrifices made just to save money for this time of year. But the happy kids tearing threw their presents and being all excited for all that day or night was worth the sacrifices. Everything was an expense, either money wise or labor wise. Then there was the money for the fire works, and for the beverages afterwards. The markets and stores were making money during this time of year. The best part was always about me and my wife in bed alone at the end of the parties. Then came New Years at the heels of Christmas. And now it seems that it is one Festival after another non-stop. And from far back as I can recall as well, there have been Wars at the heels of war non stop too. Therefore, The Federal Reserve has been making money on Wars also. And some big Banks have even financed both sides fighting on the battle fronts. However ask the kids at Christmas time or Game time if they care about how you pay for their cakes, cookies, and presents or tickets to the circus. They just want stuff and make me happy Mom or Dad. And for the poor and working Pedro and Petra, the parents, it's about budgeting the monies as best as possible. Because we have to work and try to keep Bill Collectors off our backs. Hence, our American Dream is not so easily grasped, that is..., if we can even grasp that illusive ethereal thing at all. While on the other hand, The American Dream for Big Business is always a Big Business Scheme. And I mean a big Scheme! And it is so pervasive and scandalous that it is almost as perverted and repulsive as the highly decorated giant evergreen Christmas Tree with silver bells in the Rotunda of a Texas Courthouse. That tree in there is three stories high and wide at the base. Which suggest a Union between The Governments sacred and secular entities. The Government will not mention the Name "Jesus Christ" but they will eagerly put a Big Christmas Tree anywhere that they can if you let them! I'll leave that alone now. And in closing allow me to write to you verbatim a Letter To Editor of our local News Paper dated September 18th, 2009. The title was, "Recent letters bring to mind important points. " So here is the letter. "Editor, Recently I read the following about Protestant Reformer John Knox's temper towards the Tyrants of his day. The author said "Oppression makes a a wise man mad: ( but to use the the words of orator, with a more just application), the distemper is still the madness of the wise, which is better than the sobriety of fools. Their cry is the voice of sacred misery, exalted, not into wild ravings, but into the sanctified frenzy of prophecy and inspiration." Then I read a quote from Dante which said, "Hell, is held in reserve for those who make a neutral stance when values are at risk." And John Knox himself said, "Do we think the Lord's vengeances shall sleep when man's iniquity is ripe?" This brings me to Jim Darnell's letter, Prayer and connection to rain" that appeared here Sept. 11th. I agree with Mr. Darnell's points because the Bible states that blessings of God, whether for individual or Governments, are contingent on obeying His Word. Then there is the letter by Mary Hinson on sept. 11th, titled " Can we have a serious conversation about the issues?" Now! this was a letter voicing the Sacred Cry of misery if ever there was one. After reading this letter I wondered whether this Government was created to "Protect and Represent all people, or only the rich and powerful." And whether this Republic form of Government is like Rousseau once said concerning governments, "A scheme of deception?" If a Republic, why the Oppression? And has the Government metamorphosed like ancient Rome? And are these transformations caused by 'fueling the fires of Hegelian Dialectics to create a desired World for a certain few', as someone else has said?" This ends the letter, but I wanted to show the reader that I have been on a personal crusade for many years and I am not alone in voicing warnings against serious impending dangers that eventually will lead us into this rise of a New World Order. The ever so slow collapse of The United States and Europe is a calculated one and has been by design. Its just that we were not asked to join these Elites of the World to their secret councils to add our opinions on this grave matter. Well, let's sleep on that for now, and I will say to all the people of The World, Peace, Love, Joy, and a "Merry Christmas" and may The New Year be a prosperous one to all of you! Please don't think that we are oblivious to the plight of many of you caught up in all kinds of disasters Nation, and World wide. This is my way of fighting for you too. I can not just sit and watch people suffer and say or do nothing to help. Amen. Thanks again. Respectfully, Ruben N. Gutierrez
